Manufacturing ERP/MRP Implementation Specialist (BC & Alberta)
Central Nervous Systems, Vancouver, $60,000 to $75,000

Seeking an experienced and energetic Manufacturing ERP/MRP Implementation Specialist in our Vancouver. Applicants must have experience working in manufacturing and experience working with manufacturing software. Ideal candidates will have participated with manufacturing systems implementations in several manufacturing environments. Provide professional services including implementation consulting, business process review, report writing and on-going system maintenance and support for the MISys Manufacturing software system. Manage new implementations through setup and configuration, training, and report writing. Also provide project management services for client projects. Consultants will also provide technical support services for MISys Manufacturing. This position has no standard hourly duties or time assignments and is based upon a minimum expectation of a 40-hour workweek. Additional time may be required to complete all necessary tasks. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Two (2) to four (4) years college education preferred. Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the management and dispositioning process for non-conforming material in the manufacturing environment, organization of the material flow and manufacturing equipment, working with the process engineering team in prioritizing and implementing process improvements, and providing DFM inputs into product enhancements and future products. This position will report to the Head of Manufacturing. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering • Minimum 5 years' experience in plant operation and production engineering in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics or medical devices industry • Strong, practical knowledge of R&D, NPI, supply chain and quality control • Excellent ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve, and to lead root cause analysis of quality issues in a manufacturing environment • Strong experience with process value stream mapping, DFM, and change control management • Experience with and solid understanding of statistical process controls, lean manufacturing, six-sigma implementation is preferred • Practical knowledge of worldwide cGMPs, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems for medical devices • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking • Effective written & verbal communication and technical documentation skills. Embedded Software Engineer
