Engineering Assistant - Fleet Operations Support
City of Vancouver, $29.50 - $34.74/hr

This position will work with the Equipment Services Branch primarily in supporting the Vancouver Police Department with managing various components of the VPD vehicle fleet. Qualifications: • Aptitude and experience working with vehicles and equipment is required. A skills assessment will be required during the interview process • Ability to prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules based on historical data or new technologies as well as a variety of manual and computer reports, records, files and correspondence. Ability to read and understand drawings and collect field information as required • Completion of diploma program in Engineering Technology plus sound related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience • Reliability Check security clearance is also a requirement of this position • A current and valid BC Driver's License is a requirement of this position.
