Engineering Assistant IV, Sewers Operations

The Unstop Process, Lateral Replacement Program (which includes supporting the administration of the Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) process), as well as other Sewers Operations programs such as the Check Rod Program, Hansen data entry administration and tracking the asset registration process for the Branch. Mapping Technician 2 (GIS)
City of Burnaby, $4,489/mon

This technical role focuses on the maintenance of Municipal cadastral, legal and utility infrastructure using CAD, GIS and Hansen software. Qualifications include completion of Grade 12 supplemented by courses in computerized mapping at an Institute of Technology or post-secondary training in engineering systems including a focus on surveying, cartography, CAD, AM/FM and GIS is an asset. Sound hands-on municipal mapping experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Other experience working with ArcSDE geodatabases, relational databases, as-built drawings, Autodesk CAD software, FME, and Hansen Information Management System software is an asset. Scripting and programming language skills such as Python would be an asset.
