Post Attitude counts in job search
on: February 28, 2013, 16:09

At the meeting of the CSG_ Nursing , one of the participants shared her good news of having found a nursing job at one of the prominent hospitals in Vancouver. She was very modest about her success when asked to share her experience in job search. She told the group that all she did was apply on-line to as many posting as possible and was just lucky that she landed a job because she had similar experience previously. For sure, her experience and professional skills count. However, I think that her cheerful, friendly disposition, self-confidence and positive attitude also played a very important part in her successfully securing the position.

There were others at the meeting who shared that they have been applying online and were still waiting for the employers’ response. I wonder if they have heard from the employers or tried to follow up.

I would like to invite others to share your thoughts, stories, job search experience, and post questions in this forum.
