About The Event

We are glad to feature AstraZeneca's Medical Affairs Leader – Oncology, herself an International Medical Graduate, who brings a deeply personal and professional understanding of the journey IEHPs navigate in Canada. Her lived experience, combined with her accomplished career in the pharmaceutical industry, makes her uniquely positioned to offer guidance and inspiration to health professionals walking a similar path.

Given her demanding schedule, we are especially grateful that she has carved out time for this session — and to make it happen, we have arranged it on a weekend evening to accommodate her availability and ensure you have direct access to her insights.

Whether you are navigating credential recognition, exploring non-traditional career options, or looking to leverage your international training in new and meaningful ways, this session will shed light on how the pharmaceutical and alternative healthcare sectors in Canada can offer rewarding and impactful opportunities for IEHPs like you.

What to Expect:

  • An insider's perspective on careers in Medical Affairs, Pharma, and Alternative Healthcare in Canada

  • Practical insights on transitioning from clinical to industry and non-traditional roles

  • An open dialogue on how your international experience is an asset in the Canadian healthcare landscape

  • A chance to connect and ask questions directly with a seasoned industry leader and fellow IMG
