About The Event
This session will provide practical, firsthand insights into the Clinical Assistant (CA) role — a valuable and accessible pathway for IMGs to integrate into Ontario's healthcare system while working toward longer-term licensure or practice goals.
Our guest speaker brings direct, firsthand experience as a Clinical Assistant in Ontario and will walk you through everything you need to know — from the scope of the role and IMG eligibility, to finding opportunities across clinics, hospitals, and health networks. You'll also gain practical tips on building a competitive application, navigating the workplace, and leveraging the CA role as a stepping stone toward licensure or residency, followed by a live Q&A.
