About The Event

Facilitator Bio
The session will be led by a public health professional with a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Queen's University. Originally from New Delhi, India, she moved to Canada for her undergraduate studies and now works as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University.
Her experience spans mental health promotion across nonprofit and academic settings, with research focused on mental health stigma and school-based mental health initiatives. She has also contributed to youth mental health work in the nonprofit sector and is passionate about advancing public mental health through community-engaged and upstream approaches.
