About The Event
We're excited to invite you to an upcoming virtual session focused on Pharma Careers for Health Science Graduates, taking place on Wednesday, September 23rd at 1:30 PM.
This session is a great opportunity for internationally educated healthcare professionals to explore career pathways within the pharmaceutical industry, including roles in quality control, quality assurance, research and development, and regulatory compliance. For health science graduates, the pharmaceutical sector offers an opportunity to apply their scientific knowledge and healthcare background in a growing industry beyond direct patient care. With continued investment in life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical manufacturing across Canada, demand remains strong for talent in quality, regulatory, research, and production-related roles.
We're pleased to welcome Jason Chu, Director of Operations at AAPS College, as our guest speaker. Jason brings extensive industry experience, having started his career as an instructor leading technical training in quality control, quality assurance, and R&D functions within the pharmaceutical sector. He is highly experienced working with analytical instruments and quality management systems in GMP environments, and has led corporate training while consulting on data integrity, CAPA, investigations, and other QMS-related topics. Please see Jason's short bio attached to this message.
Jason will share valuable insights on career pathways in pharma, what employers look for, and practical guidance for health science graduates entering the field.
