About The Event
Our previously scheduled session with the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association has been expanded to now include the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority, bringing you a more comprehensive and insightful discussion!
In this updated session designed for internationally educated nurses, internationally trained midwives and current or aspiring personal support workers, representatives from both the OPSWA and the HSCPOA will elaborate on their roles in advocating for PSWs, regulating PSW practice, and ensuring accountability across the profession. The session will also include a discussion on recent policy changes and future industry trends within the PSW field, and you will gain insights into career options as a PSW, whether you’re exploring PSW as a stepping stone or considering it as a long-term career.
