About the Role
Responsibilities
• Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive, creating a positive first impression.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate team members and handling inquiries promptly.
• Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately at the front desk.
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and correspondence related to dental procedures.
Details
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting.
Strong knowledge of dental office procedures, including appointment scheduling, insurance processing, and medical terminology.
Proficiency with dental practice management software
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and administrative tasks.
Prior experience working with medical office procedures or in healthcare environments is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
