About the Role

Position Overview:
We are seeking two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our clinic team, supporting a range of medical and cosmetic aesthetic treatments. The successful candidates will work under appropriate physician delegation and in accordance with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform aesthetic and cosmetic nursing procedures within CLPNA-authorized scope of practice
• Administer cosmetic injectables (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers) where authorized under a physician's delegation/medical directive
• Conduct client consultations, including health history review, skin assessments, and pre-treatment planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with CLPNA standards and clinic protocols
• Ensure all procedures comply with CLPNA regulations, clinic protocols, and manufacturer guidelines
• Provide clients with clear pre- and post-treatment care instructions and follow-up support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in accordance with infection prevention and control standards
• Collaborate with the supervising physician and clinic team to ensure safe, high-quality patient/client care

Details

  • Current, active registration in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)

  • Completion of CLPNA-recognized competency requirements for performing cosmetic injectables, where applicable (e.g., additional certification/training in Botox and dermal filler administration)

  • Willingness to work under a documented medical directive or delegation from a supervising physician for restricted activities, in accordance with CLPNA's Scope of Practice standards

  • Experience with a range of aesthetic treatments (e.g., facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, microneedling, dermaplaning) preferred

  • Strong knowledge of skin health, contraindications, and infection control/safety protocols

  • Excellent client service and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical/aesthetics team

  • Comfortable maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with CLPNA and clinic standards

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
