About the Role

Join a Growing Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team!
We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Trichologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare and aesthetics team in Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about hair and scalp health, client education, and evidence-based treatment solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with medical professionals, aesthetic practitioners, and allied healthcare providers to assess, support, and guide individuals experiencing hair loss, scalp conditions, and related concerns. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional client care and helping clients achieve their hair restoration and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive hair and scalp assessments and consultations
• Evaluate clients presenting with:
• Hair thinning and shedding
• Male and female pattern hair loss
• Alopecia concerns
• Scalp irritation and inflammation
• Dandruff and scalp disorders
• Hair breakage and damage
• Develop personalized hair and scalp care plans
• Educate clients on hair health, lifestyle factors, nutrition, and treatment options
• Recommend appropriate products, therapies, and supportive treatment programs
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding clients requiring medical evaluation or treatment
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Stay current with advancements in trichology, hair restoration technologies, and treatment protocols
• Support clinic growth through exceptional client service and education

Details

Qualifications Required

  • Diploma, certification, or recognized training in Trichology

  • Strong understanding of hair and scalp anatomy, physiology, and common disorders

  • Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills

  • Professional and compassionate approach to client care

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a trichology, dermatology, hair restoration, medical aesthetics, or wellness clinic

  • Familiarity with hair restoration treatments and technologies

  • Experience with scalp analysis tools and diagnostic imaging systems

  • Knowledge of cosmetic and medical hair loss treatment options

  • Background in aesthetics, nursing, dermatology, cosmetology, or allied health is considered an asset

  • Existing client base or referral network is considered an asset
